The Ammons Experience was born from two people who shared a passion for creating unforgettable moments. Long before the business existed, Terreus and Dashawn Ammons loved traveling to discover new experiences, trying new cuisines, dressing up for every occasion, and bringing people together.
Terreus
Born and raised in South Carolina, Terreus Ammons has always been a social butterfly with a creative spirit. Her love for art, entertaining, decorating, and fashion led her to launch TDR Fashions in 2014. With more than 10 years of experience in event planning and design, she has a unique talent for transforming ordinary spaces into extraordinary experiences. From elegant décor to thoughtfully curated details, Terreus brings every vision to life with creativity and style.
Dashawn aka Chef Choc
Dashawn Ammons, originally from Florida, discovered her passion for culinary arts at an early age while working in her mother's café. She later joined the United States Navy, where she served as a Culinary Specialist, preparing meals for fellow sailors while proudly serving her country. With more than 10 years of culinary experience, Dashawn believes food should nourish both the body and the soul while creating a beautiful visual experience that guests will always remember.
Together, their shared love for creativity inspired them to explore DIY projects, woodworking, and custom-built décor. During the 2020 pandemic, they found a way to continue bringing joy to others by creating intimate, themed dining experiences that paired immersive décor with carefully crafted cuisine. Each gathering was limited to six guests, allowing families and friends to safely connect while enjoying a one-of-a-kind experience.
As the world reopened, what began as a creative outlet quickly grew into a lifelong passion. Terreus and Dashawn expanded their vision by purchasing a property where they could host unforgettable events and welcome guests into experiences unlike any other. That dream became The Ammons Experience.
Today, The Ammons Experience proudly offers luxury event planning, catering, private chef services, mobile charcuterie experiences, themed dinners, and unforgettable celebrations. Whether we're hosting on our private estate, traveling to your venue, or creating experiences across the country, our mission remains the same—to bring people together through exceptional food, beautiful design, and meaningful moments.
